a sanctuary gathering
july 29 · 5:00–7:00pm
welcome
a soft invitation to prepare for our time together in ceremony
thank you for joining this gathering. here is everything you need to know before we come together — please read through, and reach out with any questions at all.
what to bring
to support your experience, you’re gently invited to bring:
- a journal + pen
- any meaningful item (a crystal, photo, keepsake, etc)
- a water bottle
- your favorite mug (or borrow one of mine!)
- an open heart and willingness to slow down
please know these are all optional and everything else will be provided [we have yoga mats at the space but you're always welcome to bring your own]
about ceremonial cacao
ceremonial cacao is a warm, nourishing drink made from pure cacao beans — it is a natural heart opener that facilitates connection, energetic healing, presence, and gentle emotional release. it is completely optional.
cacao considerations
ceremonial cacao may not be suitable for you if you:
- are highly sensitive to caffeine or stimulants
- are pregnant or breastfeeding (please consult your intuition or provider)
- are taking antidepressants (ssris) or other medications that affect mood/heart
- have a serious heart condition or high blood pressure
if any of the above applies to you, you are still so welcome—please feel free to opt out of cacao, enjoy herbal tea (let kenna know so she can prepare), or have a smaller amount of cacao. you're always invited to enjoy at your own pace.
personal responsibility & release
by attending this gathering, you acknowledge:
- you are participating voluntarily and are responsible for your own physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
- this ceremony is not a substitute for medical or psychological care.
- you release the facilitator (kenna o'maley) from any liability related to your participation.
how to prepare
- arrive about 10 minutes earlythis gives you time to settle in, get comfortable, and arrive unhurried before we begin together.
- unplug for a little whilesilence your phone and give yourself permission to let the outside world wait for a couple of hours.
- please avoid alcohol, marijuana, and other recreational substances beforehandarriving with a clear mind allows you to be more present with yourself and the experience.
- eat lightly before we gathera light meal or snack a couple of hours beforehand allows you to receive the ceremonial cacao more fully while still feeling nourished.
- consider limiting caffeine beforehandceremonial cacao is naturally energizing, so limiting other sources of caffeine beforehand can help support a more balanced experience.
- wear clothing you feel comfortable income as you are. cozy layers are always encouraged.
a final note
this is a space to soften. to listen. to come home to yourself.
always remember, there is nothing you need to perform or prove here.
just come as you are.
xx kenna
may this space remind you to come home to yourself.
